Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 39 points on October 3rd, they were much more limited against McKenzie last Friday. They were outmatched by the Rebels and fell 49-6. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, McEwen was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They secured a 20-14 W over Perry County. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

McEwen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Truman Gill.

Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for McEwen, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central might still be hurting after the 42-20 defeat they got from McEwen in their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
