Soccer Recap: Slidell Takes a Loss

Slidell pushed their score to zero the last time they played Northshore, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Slidell Tigers fell 2-0 to the Northshore Panthers. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Slidell's loss dropped their record down to 3-14-2. As for Northshore, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Slidell will challenge Fontainebleau at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northshore, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Northshore duke it out with the Covington at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
