Basketball Game Preview: Forest Hill Falcons vs. Inlet Grove Hurricanes

The Forest Hill Falcons will take on the Inlet Grove Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Forest Hill is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Suncoast on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Forest Hill was beaten by Suncoast 76-39. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-18.

Meanwhile, Inlet Grove entered their tilt with Pahokee on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They had just enough and edged the Blue Devils out 56-53. Given the Hurricanes' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 597th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Inlet Grove's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Forest Hill, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
