Berkeley came out on top against Alameda on Tuesday thanks in part to Sasha Spahr's efforts. Spahr turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Berkeley is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-4 otherwise.

Spahr's strong effort led Berkeley over Alameda and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
