Basketball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland lost against Hermleigh back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highland Hornets took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hermleigh Cardinals. The Hornets' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Hermleigh, they pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Highland will take on Trent at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hermleigh, they will venture away from home to square off against Loraine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hermleigh is facing Loraine at the right time seeing as Loraine is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
