Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Crossover Prep's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

After losing to Mingo Valley Christian the last time they met, Crossover Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crossover Prep Lions strolled past the Mingo Valley Christian Eagles with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 58-39.

Despite the loss, Mingo Valley Christian had strong showings from Kai Chinowth, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 16 points and four steals, and Matthew Clary, who posted 12 points and five boards.

Crossover Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.6 points per game.
