Softball Recap: Trinity Shamrocks vs. Kennard-Dale Rams
Trinity had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged the Kennard-Dale Rams out 4-3.
Landry Murray spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Taylor Lawrence was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI. Ana Sheaffer was another key contributor, going 1-for-1 with a triple and two RBI.
On Kennard-Dale's side, Taryn Ashenfelter put in work while hitting and pitching.
