Volleyball Recap: Elkins Tigers vs. Preston Knights

After losing to Preston the last time they met, Elkins decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Knights on their court since October 27, 2022.

Elkins not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Preston between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17.

Madison Zirkle paced Elkins' offense, picking up nine kills. Zirkle got some help from Hannah Currence and her 12 assists. Zirkle was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
