While Muhlenberg County's win against Todd County Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs won by a run and slipped past the Rebels 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won three in a row.

Joshlynn Noe was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Ella Watkins, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Muhlenberg County's record is now 17-9. As for Todd County Central, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-11.

Looking ahead, Muhlenberg County will take on Paducah Tilghman at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Todd County Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against North Hardin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
