Soccer Recap: Knightstown Comes Up Short

Knightstown lost against Oldenburg Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Twisters, falling 9-0. Knightstown have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Knightstown's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-3. As for Oldenburg Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knightstown will head out to take on Hauser at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oldenburg Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Connersville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oldenburg Academy will be up against Connersville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
