Basketball Recap: Lawrence Comes Up Short

Lawrence lost against Olathe South back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lawrence Lions came up short against the Olathe South Falcons, falling 70-50. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawrence now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Olathe South, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lawrence will be home for the holidays to greet Shawnee Mission East on Friday. Olathe South and Shawnee Mission North will compete for holiday cheer on Friday. Olathe South knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Shawnee Mission North likes a good challenge.
