Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elizabeth). Everything went their way against the Arvada Bulldogs on Monday as they made off with a 21-2 victory. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on five straight.
Cade Taylor made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joey Dome, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
