Van Nuys extended the longest winning streak in Valley Mission this week by beating Panorama, 49-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.

Sylmar moved up to 424 from 578 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Spartans were able to make the jump by topping Reseda 42-7.

Cris Solano and DAEMON THOMPSON gave San Fernando a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Solano threw for 125 yards and one touchdown, while THOMPSON ran for 182 yards. Teammate Solano added to the ground attack by rushing for 82 yards.

Khyree Morgan was the best wideout in the league this week as Canoga Park topped Kennedy. Morgan racked up six receptions for 73 yards. Darius Jones helped Canoga Park's passing attack out by catching four balls for 67 yards.

The Tigers' Solano and JOSE CAMARGO have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Valley Mission in both passing and receiving yards. Solano has thrown for 1356 yards this season, while CAMARGO, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 23 catches for 361 yards. Kyle Jean from Van Nuys leads the league in rushing with 1025 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place San Fernando takes on second place Van Nuys. Last week, San Fernando defeated View Park, while Sean Pollard's team bested the Pythons.

There should be lots of points scored when the Wolves and Robert Garcia's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Van Nuys comes in having scored 253 this season, while the Tigers have scored 278. The Wolves scored 49 points last week as they defeated Panorama.
