Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Milan

Macon came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Milan, but Marian Dabney wouldn't allow it. The Milan Wildcats had just enough and edged the Macon Tigers out 54-51 thanks in part to Dabney, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in November of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Milan and bumps their season record up to 13-4. As for Macon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milan will venture away from home to face off against Brookfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Macon, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
