Basketball Recap: West Fork Takes a Loss

West Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 44-15 defeat at the hands of the Splendora Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-20 last Saturday.

Kate Herndon and Nadia Camacho certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Herndon posted five points and eight rebounds, while Camacho had a point.

West Fork's record now sits at 4-13. As for Splendora, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Fork will host Kingwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Splendora, they will welcome Dayton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
