Lehigh hadn't done well against South Fort Myers recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lightning were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolfpack. The win was nothing new for the Lightning as they're now sitting on four straight.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lehigh was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.

Loss or not, South Fort Myers got some senior leadership from Sophia Vento-Iglesias and Jerzi Nace. Vento-Iglesias had ten digs and ten assists, while Nace had five aces and one assist. Nace has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Lehigh now has a winning record of 5-4. As for South Fort Myers, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Lehigh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Ida Baker on the 20th. As for South Fort Myers, they will be playing at home against Dunbar at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
