Volleyball Game Preview: Farmington River Hawks vs. Conard Red Wolves

The Farmington River Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Conard Red Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Monday, Farmington made easy work of Lewis Mills and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the River Hawks in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won four in a row.

Farmington was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Conard put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Enfield as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Conard walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Farmington's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Conard, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0.

Farmington might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Conard in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the River Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
