Basketball Recap: North Forest Takes a Loss

North Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Yates Lions 82-45. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1235th, while the Lions are ranked 244th).

North Forest's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Yates, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

North Forest has already played their next contest (against Northside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Yates will head out to take on Kashmere at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
