Soccer Game Preview: Kiski Area vs. Shaler Area

The Kiski Area Cavaliers will face off against the Shaler Area Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kiski Area has given up an average of 2.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Kiski Area's offense. They lost 9-0 to Gateway on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for Kiski Area in their meetings with Gateway: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Shaler Area ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past Mars 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Shaler Area.

Kiski Area's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Shaler Area, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Kiski Area beat Shaler Area by a goal when the teams last played back in August, winning 3-2. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
