Basketball Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Riverdale was the 37-35 winner over Orosi when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the Riverdale Cowboys and the Orosi Cardinals didn't end well, with the Riverdale Cowboys falling 67-50. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Orosi, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Riverdale won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Farmersville at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Orosi, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Sierra at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Orosi's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
