Softball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

Crestview lost against Celina back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nevaeh Ross was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three doubles and two RBI. Dakota Thornell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Celina, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview will take on Lima Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Thunderbirds have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Celina, they will be playing at home against Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
