Marshall had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Red Hill Salukis. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Marshall took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-15.

Lilly Ross paced Marshall's offense, picking up eight kills. Ross got some help from Addy Ross and her nine assists. Harper Richardson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Red Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall will welcome Newton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Casey-Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
