Volleyball Recap: Upson-Lee Gets the Win

Upson-Lee won the last time they faced Westside and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Seminoles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Upson-Lee easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-17.

Allie Richmond had an outrageously good game as she had 12 aces and one assist. Those 12 aces gave her a new career-high.

Upson-Lee's win bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Westside, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Upson-Lee has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Jasper County on the 18th. As for Westside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lamar County on the 18th.
