Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Julianna Richman and Abby Taylor Lead Midtown to Victory

Midtown saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the South Aiken Thoroughbreds.

Midtown was led to victory by Abby Taylor and Julianna Richman. Taylor had 11 digs and three assists, while Richman had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Richman has posted over her last seven games.

Midtown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 23-7 record this season. As for South Aiken, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Midtown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Central on the 20th. As for South Aiken, they will square off against Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
