Most running backs have two hands to carry the ball with — but Layton Gallagher only needs one.

The 5-foot-9 Wallace (Idaho) senior was born with just one hand but that hasn't slowed him down in 8-man competition. He ran for 140 yards and four touchdowns in a 50-30 win over Potlatch on Friday night.

On the season, Gallagher is averaging 9.6 yards per carry with 326 yards and six total TDs for the 3-0 Miners.

Gallagher ran for over 500 yards with 14 touchdowns as a junior and also plays basketball.
