West Springfield had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Woodson Cavaliers 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this season.

West Springfield not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Woodson between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-14.

West Springfield's offense was headlined by Alex Guido and Quinn Parke, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Asher Kim and his 24 assists. Zach Talbot controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

West Springfield's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Woodson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
