Basketball Recap: Gardendale Takes a Loss

Gardendale and Hazel Green squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Gardendale had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Hazel Green Trojans, falling 70-31. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Trojans are ranked seventh).

Gardendale's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Hazel Green, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 26-8.

As of now, neither Gardendale nor Hazel Green have any future games scheduled.
