Basketball Recap: Central Crossing Takes a Loss

Central Crossing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westerville Central Warhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-43 back in January.

Central Crossing's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Westerville Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Coming up, Central Crossing will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Worthington Kilbourne at 7:30 p.m. As for Westerville Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge New Albany at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
