Braxton County is 8-2 against Clay County since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. While Clay County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They strolled past Richwood with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 56-38.

Braxton County strolled past Clay County in their previous meeting back in December of 2025 by a score of 66-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
