Philip Barbour entered their tilt with Buffalo on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bison. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Philip Barbour who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 22-25, 25-13.

Izzy Knotts paced Philip Barbour's offense, picking up 22 kills. Knotts got some help from Gracie Wolfe and her 21 assists. Finley Carpenter controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Philip Barbour's victory bumped their record up to 19-6-1. As for Buffalo, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Philip Barbour will challenge Grafton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Buffalo, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Williamstown on the 25th.
