Basketball Game Preview: Seminole County Indians vs. Sneads Pirates

The Seminole County Indians and the Sneads Pirates will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Sneads took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Seminole County, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Seminole County needed a bit of extra time to put away Malone. They secured a 65-59 W over the Tigers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Sneads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 65-36 loss at the hands of Port St. Joe.

Sneads' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Seminole County, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Seminole County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Sneads in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 56-52 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seminole County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
