Ridgefield has gone a perfect 10-0 against Washougal recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spudders will be playing at home against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Ridgefield and Columbia River had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Spudders came up short against the Rapids on Wednesday, falling 9-3. The loss continues a trend for the Spudders in their meetings with the Rapids: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Washougal fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against R.A. Long on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lumberjacks by a score of 8-7. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Lucas Orr and Samuel McKee stepped up to the plate in a big way. Orr scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while McKee went 2-for-3 with one triple. That triple marked the first that McKee hit this season. Another player making a difference was Owen MacDonald, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Ridgefield's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Washougal, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
