Baseball Recap: Everett Seagulls vs. Eastside Catholic Crusaders
Everett had lost nine straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-5 to make it ten. They came up short against the Eastside Catholic Crusaders, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seagulls of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.
Eastside Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3, 2025 (when they won 14-1).
For Eastside Catholic's part, Tristan Weigum looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, Weigum posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025.
