Volleyball Recap: Denver East Comes Up Short

Denver East was the 3-1 winner over Vista PEAK Prep when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Angels fell just short of the Bison by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Denver East sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 26-24, 16-25, 15-11.

Denver East has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Denver East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they will take on Rangeview in a tournament on Saturday.
