Softball Game Preview: Diamond Ranch Panthers vs. Ontario Jaguars

The Diamond Ranch Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Ontario Jaguars at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Diamond Ranch is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They came up short against Don Lugo, falling 14-4. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, while it was Ontario who put the first runs on the board on Friday, it was Don Lugo who put up more. The Jaguars lost 19-6 to the Conquistadores. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Conquistadores: they've now lost eight in a row.

Laylonie Martinez was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two runs.

Diamond Ranch now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Ontario, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
