Recap: Lincoln Southeast Knights vs. Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks
The Lincoln Southeast Knights waltzed into their matchup Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They had just enough and edged Lincoln Southwest out 53-50. This was payback for Lincoln Southeast, who suffered a 78-76 loss the last time these two teams met.
Lincoln Southeast's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taye Moore, who scored 25 points. The match was Moore's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendall Hinton, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Karter Chamberlain and Bj Bradford certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Chamberlain scored ten points along with seven rebounds, while Bradford scored 14 points. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. Uzziah Sanders was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Lincoln Southeast has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Lincoln Southwest, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Hopefully Lincoln Northeast focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
