Baseball Recap: Florence-Carlton's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Florence-Carlton came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-2 to the Polson Pirates. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Florence-Carlton's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-3. As for Polson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Florence-Carlton will take on Belgrade at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Polson, they will welcome Lincoln County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
