Botkins has gone 10-0 against Fairlawn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Botkins Trojans will challenge the Fairlawn Jets at 7:30 p.m. Fairlawn took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Botkins, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Botkins was able to grind out a solid win over New Bremen, taking the game 42-34.

Meanwhile, Fairlawn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 58-26 loss at the hands of Newton Local.

Fairlawn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Botkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Botkins took their victory against Fairlawn in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 66-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Botkins since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
