Soccer Game Preview: Millbrook vs. Manassas Park

The Millbrook Pioneers will square off against the Manassas Park Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Manassas Park is facing Millbrook at the wrong time: Millbrook suffered their first home loss of the season on Tuesday and they're likely out for redemption. They came up short against the Judges, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Millbrook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Handley are ranked sixth).

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cougars on Friday. Manassas Park came out on top against Kettle Run by a score of 3-1. Manassas Park hasn't had any issues with Kettle Run recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Millbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Manassas Park, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.
