Softball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Clifton Cubs.

Emery Parrott was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that she brought in this season.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Clifton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will welcome Crawford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clifton, they will be playing at home against Whitney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clifton's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Whitney's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
