Volleyball Recap: Canyon Comes Up Short

Canyon's tournament run continued when they took on Eastlake on Friday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Falcons. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastlake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alayna Rodarte-Clemente, who had four digs and three aces.

Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Eastlake, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

Coincidentally, Canyon and Eastlake will both be playing The Woodlands the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Highlanders at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 11:15 a.m.
