Westmoore had won two straight games and Grant Barnard did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Westmoore Jaguars breezed past the Ponca City Wildcats to the tune of 63-26 thanks to Barnard, who went 9-for-11 on his way to 19 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Garrett Barnard, who posted five points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Ponca City's loss came despite strong showings from Tavionne Akers and Peyton Wade. Akers put up 11 points, while Wade earned six points.

Westmoore's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Ponca City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 15 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.

Westmoore has already played their next contest, a 68-51 win against Stillwater on the 14th. As for Ponca City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 88-10 loss against Owasso on the 14th.
