Volleyball Recap: Foothill Takes a Loss

Foothill lost against Torrey Pines back in September of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Falcons. The shutout was out of character for the Knights seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Torrey Pines, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.

Foothill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against San Dieguito Academy on the 11th. As for Torrey Pines, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Highland on the 11th.
