Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Navajo Prep's Winning Streak

Navajo Prep and St. Michael squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Navajo Prep had to settle for second. They took a 60-43 bruising from the St. Michael's Horsemen. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Navajo Prep's loss dropped their record down to 24-7. As for St. Michael's, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Navajo Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Michael's, they will face off against Bosque at 9:45 a.m. on Friday. St. Michael's knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 21 matches -- so hopefully Bosque likes a good challenge.
