Hunter Jiron turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. He turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He has become a key player for St. Pius X: the team is undefeated when he allows at most three hits, but 6-10 otherwise.
