On Friday, North Branch got the win against Vassar by a conclusive 44-22. The win made it back-to-back wins for North Branch.
When it comes to explaining why Vassar lost, one person who can't be blamed is Trevor Gleeson. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points.
North Branch's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Vassar, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
North Branch will be playing in front of their home fans against Algonac at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Algonac is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Vassar, they will head out on the road to face off against Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
