Softball Recap: Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles vs. Northwest Grizzlies

Bishop Carroll can now show off 17 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 17-6 margin over the Northwest Grizzlies. The win was familiar territory for Bishop Carroll who now have five in a row.

Isabella Pfannestiel tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.

On the hitting side, Bishop Carroll let Cambell Riordan and Keira Stripling loose on the outfield. Riordan went 1-for-1 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs, while Stripling scored two runs while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelynn Lance, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Bishop Carroll has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Northwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.
