Volleyball Game Preview: Mescalero Apache Chiefs vs. Capitan Tigers

Mescalero Apache hasn't had much luck against Capitan recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Chiefs will venture away from home to face off against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Mescalero Apache lost 3-0 to Cloudcroft on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Capitan came up short against Mesa Vista on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Mescalero Apache's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Capitan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.

Mescalero Apache beat Capitan 3-1 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chiefs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
