Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vidalia). They blew past the Salmen Spartans 20-3 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.
Kinsley LeBlanc made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. She also tossed five walks, marking her first of the season. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Piper Weatherly was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
