Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Diego). They breezed by the Newbury Park Panthers to the tune of 81-49 on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on three straight.

Bishop Diego has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Newbury Park, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Diego will host Mission College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Diego has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Newbury Park, they will face off against Santa Clara at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
